I first met Bill when I was around 13 years old while I was up visiting my Cousin Bob. Bill and I both had a strong interest in music at a young age. The musical connection we had existed throughout the years. Over the years Bill and I had jammed and recorded together on a numerous occasions. When Bill first told me of his health issue, I was concerned, but hopeful for a positive outcome, given the current advances in medicine. However, it looks like God had other plans for Bill. Heaven must have needed another passionate musician.

When I learned of Bill's passing I was very saddened and felt that emptiness I sense all that knew him felt. Bill was a long time and a good friend to me. I along with many others will miss him greatly. My sincere condolences to his family and loved ones. May your loving memories of him bring you comfort and peace.

Sad to see Bill go so early. I have many fond memories of playing music with Bill in the rock bands Stages and Footsteps and in the country band Open Range. There was no one who loved music more than Bill, and Bill was always enthusiastic about the future direction of our bands. I already miss our discussions about music. Keep Rockin.
