Ronald Cuddeback Obituary

Ronald L. Cuddeback, 75 of Cayuga, NY passed away suddenly on Sunday December 10, 2023 at Auburn Community Hospital. Ron was an avid hunter and fisherman. He graduated from Skaneateles High School and Delhi College. He was a Vietnam veteran serving four years in the US Navy. "Never on a Ship". He also helped in the Owasco 4-H showing gurney cows. Ron met his wife Sue in the summer of 1967 and were married for 55 years creating a wonderful and loving family. Ron is survived by his loving wife Sue (Jones) Cuddeback, daughters Carolyn (Richard Evans, Ann ( Rocco Lupo), Pamela (Randi Hickman), Seven Grandchildren Nichole, Charles, Rocky, Katherine, William, Ethan and Elliot. Sister Janet (Darell Hargett) and brother Robert (Patricia Cuddeback), Brother in law Ronnie (Nancy) Jones and Sister in law Sharon Smith. Constant furry companion Sister Dolly. Special neighbors the Quicks, Curtis, Grattons and Taylor families. Best friends and fishing buddies Ed and Cindy Laraway, Don and Nancy Hutson, Jack Gilfus, Jerry Kelly, Carl and Kyle. Ron was employed by Sylvania, TRW in Union Springs and Auburn. He also enjoyed working outside on the Mills farm. After he retired spending time with his grandkids, fishing and hunting. He is now joined with his parents Elizabeth and Alfred Cuddeback, Brother Tom, Grandson Bryson Hickman and best friends Bill Weller and John Curtis. Calling Hours will be held Friday December 15, 2023 from 4- 7 pm at the Port Byron United Methodist Church. Funeral Services will be held 11 am Saturday December 16, 2023 from the Church.
