Port Bryon- Jesse Pingert (80) of Port Byron died on September 24, 2023. Born in Rochester. NY on September 17, 1943. Jesse was the son of the late Dr. Frederick P. and Flora Belle Pingert. Jesse was raised in and was a life-long resident of Port Byron, NY. He is a graduate of Port Byron Central High Schools where he was longtime member of the Alumni Association. Jesse enjoyed working for 33 years at Blake’s Pharmacy, participating in many Port Bryon Fire Department activities, and spending time with his friends at the Port Bryon Federated Church. He loved stopping by the firehouse to talk and attend activities such as handing out candy to trick or treaters and riding in the parades. He treasured his time with grandkids especially around the holidays. Also, he is survived by brothers-in -law, sisters-in-law, and several nieces and nephews. Both Jesse’s older brother (Paul) and younger sister (Erica) predeceased him. A special mention to Jesse’s life-long friends Dan Rand and Theresa and Mark Chapman for their friendship and support.
