Raymond L. Gould Sr. 73 of Port Byron passed away Friday April 8, 2016 at the VA Medical Center, Syracuse, NY.

Ray was born on Nov. 12, 1942 in Lyons, N Y the son of Lester and Frances Veley Gould. He was a graduate of Port Byron High School.  He entered the US Army and served from 1961-64.  He was then employed by Carrier Corp. working for 35 years retiring in 1999.  He also worked for the town of Conquest.  He was an avid Hunter and Fisherman. He was a very skilled woodworker and liked going to the Casino.

He is survived by his companion of 27 years Janice Guy.  Sons Raymond Gould Jr. of San Antonio, TX, Gordon (Christine Strapach) Gould of Port Byron, Step-son Gary Guy Sr. of Port Byron, Brothers Loren Gould of Port Byron, Carl Gould of Auburn, David Gould of Red Creek and Kenneth Gould of Florida. Sister Juanita Gould of Port Byron. Grandchildren Joseph, Christopher, Nicholas, Regina, Teranne, Shelly Granatiero, Vicky Townsend, Gary Guy Jr. Thomas Guy Jr., and Jered Guy. Several Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren.

He was predeceased by siblings Eugene Gould, Rosie Douglas, Gene Clark, Bobbie Gould, Jimmie Gould and Freddie Gould. Step-sons Thomas, Dana and Billie Guy.

The family would like to thank the staff at Hospice of the Finger lakes for the care of Ray.

Friends are invited to call on Tuesday April 11, 2016 from 2 - 4 pm at the Audioun Funeral Home LLC 218 Main St. Port Byron, NY.  Funeral Services will follow at 4:15 pm from the Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers contributions may go to Hospice of the Finger Lakes 1130 Corp. Dr. Auburn, NY 13021
